Description

Join us for our next virtual town hall, Women United for Food Security in Peru, a conversation on the underreported reality of Peru’s food insecurity.

The COVID-19 pandemic, supply chain problems, and food price inflation have been particularly hard on marginalized communities in Lima, Peru. By some estimates, it has set back the country’s poverty reduction efforts by ten-years. Through the Mujeres Unidas por la Seguridad Alimentaria y Ambiental (MUSA) \Women United for Food and Environmental Security program Cuso International, along with our partners, is responding to the crisis by working with women farmers and women’s networks to share knowledge, advocate for food security and support community-led projects and decision making.
